Yaddo: Making American Culture,

The New York Public Library

The Library presented an ambitious exhibition drawing from the Yaddo archives, focusing on the lives, connections, and creative collaborations and contributions of the many writers and artists who have resided at Yaddo from the 1920s - 1980, including Truman Capote, James Baldwin, Langston Hughes, Katherine Anne Porter and others too numerous to mention.

Curated by Micki McGee, the exhibition featured a tower of hundreds of books written by Yaddo residents and their names projected on the actual dining table on loan from the Trask mansion.
