The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, Springfield, MA
The new Basketball Hall of Fame, housed in a
captivating new building designed by Gwathmey Siegel and Associates Architects,
opened to great fanfare in the Fall of 2002. RWD joined a huge team headed
by Scenic Technologies to help complete this multimillion dollar project.
RWD was responsible for developing exhibits for
the entire complex, advancing many of the concepts created by Hotopp Associates
and contributing many of their own. RWD provided design development,
presentations to the content committee, contract documentation, and fabrication
oversight.
